PSALM 37 : 23
“The LORD makes firm the steps of the one who delights in Him.”
To delight in the LORD is to follow God with knowledge and understanding, trusting in and doing His will. God watches over to sustain him at every step.
With such obedience even the traps set by the enemy are avoided in triumph. God delights in our rejoicing in His Word and submission.
“May our joy in closeness to our God and obedience to Him be forever.”
