“And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.”
Lord Jesus submitted to the Father’s will before Calvary. Taking up the cross means no return.
Elisha followed Elijah after sacrificing his farming equipment and bulls for total commitment. God desires love with whole heart and soul and not half-hearted submission.
It is not about abandoning family and other things but living for the Lord in the world. Life will then be an expression of His Divine love and mercy for others.
